If TrayStatus isn't installed it can't run with uiAccess which can prevent it from reading data that it needs to function. You should be fine with the basic features though.

Trigger rules, and the double-click tray icon to change key state won't work if an elevated window (e.g. regedit) is focused. Otherwise, everything else should function correctly
