I upgraded to TrayStatus 4.0 and now the icon remains hidden so I went to the settings for the task bar and there are now two settings so I turned on the one for 4.0 and it had no effect so I rebooted and still nothing. I tried reinstalling TrayStatus 4.0 but that didn't fix the problem.

The tray icon was in the hidden area and dragging it out to the taskbar fixed the problem. Thanks a million!
