TrayStatus 3.1 is now available for download! This version adds some new languages and fixes some important issues. Here are some of the changes in this new version:

  • More languages included
  • Separate hard drive activity indicators are now independent
  • Tray balloon messages now work as expected
  • Double-clicking a tray icon now fires on mouse up, not mouse down

We encourage everyone to update to this new version today to take advantage of these improvements. If you would like to see a complete list of all the changes, please visit the Change Log. We would also like to send out a big thanks to all of people who helped with the TrayStatus translations. If you would like to see TrayStatus in your language, please contact us, we would love to hear from you! Thanks everyone!

Many thanks for reestablish balloon message! Other question is - what is "thermal zone information"? Is it about a core temp or I am misunderstanding it?

Looks like it might be CPU temperature in Kelvin: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21815510/whats-the-temperature-returned-by-performancecounter-thermal-zone-information.

The Custom Performance Counters are just using the Windows Performance Counters, so some of them may be kind of obscure. We just wanted to use those because there are a ton of Performance Counters available, and some drivers/software add their own Counters as well that people might want to use in TrayStatus :)
