Suddenly (the past week or so), when I boot up the system I get the message that TS requires authorization to run and do I want to allow it. The message I'm getting is from my Norton software. Why should TS require authorization suddenly? How do I change it?
Using Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

You should be able to set an exception for it in your Norton software so that it is allowed to run without requiring authorization.

Thanks John, that's probably the best way. I can't imagine why it would need authorization, it doesn't access the internet or try to start any external processes.
