Hello.
Im running vista, tray status always worked perfectly fine. i have a logitech EX 100 wireless keyboard and i needed a PS2 keyboard to enter the bios. however since i had vista install the PS2 driver automatically tray status isnt working anymore. (message: "stopped working, searching for solution.") i deinstalled all keyboard drivers and rebooted, that didnt help, i reinstalled logitech software, and i reinstalled traystatus several times. still not working. does anyone have any ideas? thanks! Jones

Can you give this new version (1.1) a try:
http://www.binaryfortress.com/traystatus/ It should take care of the start-up issues. Thanks!

If you go into "Performance Monitor" (perfmon), can you see any Hard Drive counters? They will be in the "PhysicalDisk" category, under "Disk Read Bytes/sec". I'm not sure what this will be named in German, I'm hoping you can translate it and find it.

I have released a new update that won't try to create the HD counters if you don't have them enabled. Just download the new 1.1.1 version:
http://www.binaryfortress.com/traystatus/ I would love to hear if this takes care of the issue for you. Thanks!

Yes, the system monitor shows me a graph with the hard drive activity. Also read and write counters seem to be working. The update worked perfectly fine, I don't get any error messages anymore. Thanks a lot for your support and time, really appreciate it!
