Currently we have the option to show all indicators at all times, with active keys being highlighted, or to have them hidden unless the key is pressed, when they appear in the tray.

The feature request is to allow configuring individual keys to be shown permanently or only when they are active.

The rationale for this is that I want to have an indicator for every key. Scroll lock, shift, control; all of them. I don't have a physical caps lock key, but it's possible to enable it programmatically, which is something I would want to know about. But whereas caps lock and some other keys should never be on, other keys like control are going to be regularly pressed.

So either my tray is overflowing with icons or the regularly-used keys are constantly appearing and disappearing, which is distracting when seen from the corner of the eye.

If I could say "caps lock is visible only when pressed but shift is always visible and highlighted when pressed" it would be a perfect middle ground.

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!
