I saw a three year old post that became an enhancement 'vote', but has there been any discussion to having TrayStatus be able to display the network statistics of pings, upload/download speeds, etc? For me download speeds would help as it gives me an indication if I need to drop video from my online meetings, etc, in the current environment.

If there's a custom indicator, I didn't see it.

We haven't added a built-in indicator for this yet, no. We will definitely let you know if/when we do.

In the meantime, you can add it with a custom performance counter. I've attached a screenshot for reference.

The Threshold sets the scale for the little bar graph in the tray icon, so you could set it to something that matches your internet speed. It's in bytes, so if your internet is 50 Mbps, you could set the threshold to 6250000.

Hope that helps!

Yes, seriously guys....ROYA, LOYA but no internet activity?

Also, can you comment on the meaning of threshold? Is this the point that activity is noted in the activity light or something else?

Thanks,
R

The threshold is the value at which the bar graph will show as 100%. It will divide the threshold by 10 and then use those values to set the % on the graph :)
