What can I do to stop this traystatus error message

That error looks like TrayStatus is being run from a temp folder, possibly extracted from a zip file? Where did you download TrayStatus from?

I would recommend installing it from our website using the installer version, not the zip version: https://www.traystatus.com/Download/ (the green "Download Installer Now" button).

If you can let me know where you initially downloaded it from, that would be great! We get this type of request a lot, but I can't figure out why people are using the zip version instead of the installer :)

Keith – Thanks but I downloaded traystatus from the BFS website (no zip files) deleted all temp files and I still get the error display. Herm

Can you check the C:\Users\Herm\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ folder to see if TrayStatus exists there? If it does, can you delete it?

Keith – now I'm confused i thought a shortcut must be in the startup folder for a program (Traystatus) to work. Herm
