What I would like to do is assign a custom icon to each indicator. For instance, if there is a way to choose the order of the indicators, then I can customize the icon groups for the matching counter number. Or (less likely) if I could assign custom icons to each counter, that would work, too.
Thanks! PS 4.0 is awesome! |

You can do custom icons actually! The icons are stored in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\TrayStatus\Icons\

Hi, Keith:
Thank you for the reply! Yes, I know about creating custom icons - and I have some good ones, too. What I would like is to somehow tie those icons to a specific counter that I set up. I know that it's not feasible to actually make a real association with a specific counter - that would mean major software rewrites - but if we could control the order in which the counters appear, it would give me the same control. As it is now, there seems to be a pre-determined order that counters are displayed, so if I add a counter that happens to be displayed before the ones I made custom icons for, I have to do a cascaded rename of all the icons to get them realigned with the correct counters. Let's say I have custom icons for counters #1 and #2. I add another counter and it becomes counter #1; my previous #1 is now #2, and my previous #2 is now #3. Now I have to rename all my custom icons in addition to making new #1 icons. Also, I have to modify the icons if they have the counter numbers included in the icons, themselves. If I could move that new counter to #3, all I would have to do is make a new icon set for #3. Maybe this is turning into a new feature request. Thanks for your time! |

Ah yep! I see what you mean. I will add a feature request to our list for the ability to select a folder of icons for each specific counter. If that's not do-able, then maybe we can just add the ability to re-order the counters in the settings window.
